Visiting a local healer

most of the prominent local healers are men, but the women here is perhaps the  most prominent

she has several patients every day, some staying at her place for weeks and weeks
- uses herbal medicines as well as psycho-social or spiritual therapy,
taught by her late Grandmother as well as an Islamic healer ("they know even more")
- is herself a devoted Christian

proudly, she shows me her treatment room

in front of her house, visitors, mainly seeking advise or therapy,  her husband sitting behind her
