Pugu Hills, Kisarawe, Bagamoyo, 13th March 2005

Michel, Tom, John, Brad, Sebastian, Ben, Steve, Klavs and Henrik. All text written by Sebastian

It was a very hot day with some obstacles. Not many kilometres but everybody took strain.

Route: The interesting part was until Kibaha. Took 70% of the time. Tom and Johnny left us after Kisarawe and Brad and Sebastian left in Kibaha for a very adventures ride back home to Dar. Michel, Klavs, Ben, Steve and Henrik continued towards Bagamoyo and from there small tracks to Dar.

What is that green thing doing there?

Which way to go??? Big discussion….once more the right decision ….
We take the hard way right through the hills far back, right up…

why on earth are we wearing helmets and protection gear??
In case a train falls down upon us!

still no train and no rails

peaceful riding
that’s where I (Sebastian) got the headache

too much green in the way. I (Sebastian) have to get off my bike….
... and so does Michel, though for another green reason

go Johnny go… Brad has his lights on as well….

orange monster coming out of the bush
blue monster coming...
Steve enjoying

there where KTMs left, right and centre that day

Henrik claims that he only touched the ground and he didn't stop ;-)

two-stroke power, or two-legs ...?
more power needed here! why?
... plus Ben in the back
well done, Michel!
and Tom 1++ even without lights

isn’t it beautiful...? with the KTM drivers hidden!

where are the tracks of the others???

it was steeeeeeeeeeeeeep better than pushing uphill.
Klavs pushing his bike downhill…

just can't see how steep it was!
I cant touch the ground on this bloody bike” = must be the bike's fault. Steep, it was... Even cameraman lost his sense of direction!
phffouw … what a downhill! Cameraman still having lost his sense of direction!
Steve, Christmas is long way from now, so leave that tree alone... or are we not only in the bush, but also bringing home the bush...

traffic jam again

Steve in a heelklimb
Michel and Henrik in a hoaeloklimba
Henrik still in a hoaeloklimba

Ben better check your lights (Ben has an electrical contracting company)

orange leading!... (except for the Honda-red cameraman already there)
orange still thinks they are leading!

colourful flora

say goodbye. Nine riders started and 2 left for home here

there was no train giving us a ride even after hours ;-)

21st century. Will trains survive in Africa? I (Sebastian) am turning my back to it and go riding into the bush…

there are even others doing that…

Ben, are you tired? Must be your wife. Sebastian, leave the grin and shave properly Michel is taking an alibi picture with a bottle of water (for the records)
Brad, if you would have known what was to come, you wouldn’t have that smile Klavs is just happy to be back in Dar, not for long, Bwana! Tom, are you afraid of getting a sore throat?
Steve likes to drink beer and show his gold chain + his luxury body Johnny disappeared so fast that we did not even get a picture without helmet Lost but not leased??? Henrik … always concentrating on … who knows
